Tuesday's Children
Tuesday's Children is a special events resource and mentor program for every child who lost a parent
on September 11th, created to see that the children never walk this path alone. They are families like
yours, and only a drive from within eclipses the sadness in their hearts, a drive to find the positives,
to shine a little light, to make the possible happen. A drive to build a bridge to these kids, to instill a
sense of wellness, to start with little smiles and work towards an effective fundamental change in
the outlook these kids will carry throughout their lives. To that end, Tuesday's Children has made
an eighteen-year commitment to help you fill the gap left by a guiding light now gone.
Upon registering with Tuesday's Children, families and children will have access to a password-protected
Web site conveniently displaying ticket availability for individual family outings as well as a calendar
of upcoming group events. There is also the ability to update family information, such as approved
guardians, children's changing interests, and contact information, within the database.
This information will be held in the strictest confidence, used only to serve families' best interests.
In addition, the ability to communicate questions, comments, and requests directly with Tuesday's
Children via the Web site simplifies the process. Tuesday's Children is not a faceless national
organization, but one by the families, for the families support network, on the inside looking out,
working from a place deeper in our hearts than we ever knew existed.
